ChildrenMuch of what we do at St. Mark’s, we do with and for children. It is our goal for children to know church as a place where they are safe and cared for; where they are taught; and where they see and hear Christian lives being lived out around them. St. Mark's is a great place for children -- for families! Choose to bring your children to worship with you, or come to worship while your children are doing Sunday morning activities that were designed for them. Let one of our greeters help you find the right place for everyone. Baby and toddler nurseries
Our nurseries are inviting and carefully supervised. Because we want young families to fully participate in the life of the church, the nurseries are available for our many church activities.
We have classes available during the 9am, 10am and 11am church services for folks of all ages. Click here for a schedule and map for our Sunday School Classes. All Kids in grades 1-6 meet in Springstead Gym for Kid's Church. 5th & 6th graders break out to go to their own class in Zumwalt Hall and return to Springstead Gym to be picked up by their parents.
This Spring we'll explore stories of David and some of Jesus' Parables as well as some parables. Great music, great stories and a snack are a perfect way to start your Sunday morning.

Mission ministry (outreach) is important to St. Mark's.
It starts with our children!
NOW is the time to reach the next generation.
Children readily accept the message of Jesus Christ
But caring adults are the key to getting that message to them!
Please pray and consider serving at least one Sunday a month to make a difference for eternity.
Give back to God the gift you have --JESUS

Our Special Agents look for ways to serve others while having fun. We've collected food for the St. Mark's food pantry, old jeans to be shared or recycled, books to share with kids who don't have books and aluminum can tabs to help the kids at Ronald McDonald house. Creating paper mache enrichment items for zoo animals is an on-going project. It's a chance to get to know each other better. Come and share the fun with us while your parents learn in a Bible Study or Choir. Join us in the fall for another great season of being the hands and feet of Jesus.
On your mark...get set...GO! Tie your shoestrings and begin your race with this high-energy kid’s musical. These young racers are learning that the secret to running life's grace race is to follow in His steps but in their shoes. Running with faith, they look to the great cloud of witnesses cheering them on and consider the signs they are leaving for those who will come behind. Most importantly, they run so as to cross the finish line and hear Jesus say, “Well done!”
Rehearsals begin January 22 and run every Sunday afternoon with performances April 14, 15 and 22. (OK, not every Sunday. There is no practice March 11 during Spring Break)
Children heading back to school face excitement as well as anxieties. Busy schedules, high expectations, and perfectionism can lead to weary, stress-out kids. This month's newsletter is filled with insights about ways to keep your family as stress-free as possible during the new school year ahead.
