Reading Camp

In cooperation with Books Are Gems, a local nonprofit organization, St. Mark's volunteers host a month-long Reading Camp on our campus and a second month-long Reading Camp at Houchen Community Center.  Participating children are screened and receive individual attention for their particular learning needs in a fun environment.  Volunteers to each of these camps are trained by the Reading Camp directors. 

 

As with all of our ministries to children and youth, volunteers should expect background checks and other Safe Sanctuaries measures.
