Worship Grow Serve Share

Share

Sharing is an extension of service that leads us to offer our resources to meet the needs of others.  Some of our local sharing ministries are occasional, like Angel Tree and Christmas Baskets; others are ongoing, like Grandma's Attic and the Food Pantry.  Click here for a copy of St. Mark's Newsletter

Outflow:  Our gifts making a difference in the world around us.

St. Mark's participates in the mission work of the church around the world.  For United Methodists, these are "shared ministries."  In 2012 our share is $243,139.
We especially appreciate the work of UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).  They are first in and last out of disaster situations and cooperate fully with other relief organizations, to provide the best response for any given situation.  Because we support UMCOR's administrative structure, 100% of gifts given for relief are used in relief efforts.

"Our Share" supports the work of these United Methodist agencies:
World Service
New Church Development
Campus Ministry
District Missions - El Paso
Ministerial Educational Fund
Black College Fund

Our Mission and Core Values for Sharing:  St. Mark's is committed to developing leaders.  We will teach through the church, school and preschool.  We will give of ourselves and our resources beyond the church campus.
